Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is the highly anticipated open-world tactical shooter from Ubisoft Paris. Releasing on March 7th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, the game follows a group of four “Ghosts” who are tasked with destroying the cartel in Bolivia and discover the connection between the cartel and the local government.
Wildlands will be first game in the Ghost Recon series to feature an open world setting, including nine different terrain types such as forests, salt flats and deserts. These terrains can be explored on foot or by vehicles such as dirt bikes, helicopters and dune buggies. The game will also feature a dynamic weather system and a day-night cycle seen in similar games such as Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Likewise in Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, missions carried out during different times of the day will have advantages and disadvantages. For example, if a mission is undertaken during the day, players will be spotted more easily, whereas at night players will be better concealed from enemies.
One of the most important features from the game is the four-player co-operative multiplayer; one player can be joined by three other players to take on missions together. The game can also be completed fully solo, with player joined with three AI ‘players’ under your command.
This is one game I cannot wait to play.
