Devil May Cry 5: Combos edgier than V himself

Devil May Cry 5 has only been out for a couple of days now and players are already unleashing devastating combos that’ll probably make you question your own skills.

Nero is up first – one key difference in DMC5 is the removal of his Devil arm. Instead we see the introduction of the Devil Breaker, which is similar to the old school Devil Trigger but explodes if the player is attacked during delivery. The combos are ace, like this one right here:

The famously well-known Dante has seen some changes to differentiate himself from Nero, one of them being a freaking motorcycle. He has the series standard, Devil Trigger ability which allows Dante to unleash some action-packed marvels of animation. Look at this insane compilation of the legendary devil hunter’s stylized attacks.

Dante is easily a fan-favourite with his multiple options for offence. If it’s range your looking for, Dante can deliver limited ranged damage with his dual pistols but if you are precise you can pull off some amazing feats, like this one here:

DMC5 is easily one of the more complicated games in the series with new methods for players to execute their combos. This is apparent with the addition of the series newcomer, V who’s approach to combat is vastly different from the likes of Dante and Nero. He is simply a ranged character who attacks from a distance to defeat his opponents. At the minute, the player base is divided on his inclusion so many fans are focusing on the other two badasses. But V is someone who shouldn’t be overlooked, so here is a small showcase from Capcom themselves:

DMC5 has become the second-best launch on Steam for Japanese developer Capcom. The game marks a strong return for the series after a long 6-year hiatus. The game is bringing in fans new and old, being one of the more critically acclaimed titles in the franchise’s long history. Before we finish, I’ve got to show you this mind-blowing combo:

If you’re a fan of fast paced action games, DMC5 is probably up your alley. Devil May Cry 5 is currently available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and it can be purchased here.
