Owlchemy Labs has confirmed the release date of Vacation Simulator after over a year since its initial reveal.
From the minds behind the award-winning Job Simulator and Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality comes Vacation Simulator, a seemingly similarly paced VR title with four holiday locations to explore and relax in: a forest, beach, resort and mountain.
A new trailer for the game was also released showcasing the different locations and activities awaiting players. It also showcased some of the player customisation options including hats, scarves and gloves as well as some proper player animations for the mouth and eyes, perfect for your selfies. The trailer also revealed some more open locations, a notable change from both Job Simulator and Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality’s fairly limited player space, the latter of which was certainly an improvement over Job Simulator’s.
“At Owlchemy we strive to make VR for everyone, and I believe we’re taking huge steps towards achieving that with Vacation Simulator,” said Devin Reimer, Chief Executive Owl at Owlchemy Labs in the press release.
Vacation Simulator launches April 9th on SteamVR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality Headsets and sometime this summer for PSVR.
